Description
Named after the most giant planet in our solar system, JT-4000 touts an equally gigantic feature set packed into a super portable 5 size. Easily worth the price of admission for just the Supersaw waveform capability that dominated Trance and Hardcore Electronica of the 90s, the JT-4000 is packed with possibilities that defy its extreme value.
Based on the mid-90s stalwart, the JT-4000 features 2 bi-timbral analog modeling oscillators per voice, 6 waveform options (including Supersaw), and an analog lowpass 12dB/octave LPF for vintage girth and punch. Armed with 32 programmable memory presets, two ADSR envelopes, and two LFOs, the potential for creating and expanding sounds and textures is nearly limitless—and nearly as travel-friendly as your smartphone.
Despite its tiny footprint, the control surface is uncluttered and easy to operate, with 16-note velocity-sensitive touch keys, a 3-pattern arpeggiator, a USB/MIDI port for control/connectivity, and more.
