Powered by Aguilar’s coveted Tone Hammer preamp, the Tone Hammer 500 delivers warm, rich, tube-like tone in a lightweight, solid-state package. Featuring our proprietary “Drive” control and a flexible three-band EQ, the Tone Hammer 500 will give you the legendary Aguilar Sound while still fitting into the accessory pouch of most gig bags the perfect choice for bass players on the go. The 4 lb. Tone Hammer 500 delivers 500 continuous watts @ 4 ohms and 250 watts @ 8 ohms and features bass, treble and fully sweepable midrange controls. The Drive control utilizes Aguilars proprietary AGS circuit which adds subtle distortion and midrange punch to the sound. The Tone Hammer 500 also features a series effects loop, XLR balanced output and two rear panel speakon outputs.
