Description
A true blast from the past, Behringers faithfully recreated version of the Iconic silver and blue Octave-Divider pedal of the early 70s is a dead ringer for the original. Originally intended as part of an integrated filter section for an early monophonic syntha subject that Behringer knows more than just a thing or two aboutthe Behringer Octave Divider delivers in authentic vintage analog style. Famously used by Gery Garcia, Jeff Beck, Frank Zappa, and Sly and the Family Stone bassist Larry Graham and Niel Young, as well as contemporary bands like Primus and Cannibal CorpseThe Octave-Divider pedals subtle-to-thunderous range of sounds have never gone out of style, and have never been more affordable.
Laid out like the original, the dual footswitch design lets you blend in just the right amount of fast-tracking sub-octave tones below the primary input signal, adding dimension to single-note runs on your Guitar, Bass, or Synth. With the Bass Only switch on, you can lay down huge sub-octave solo bass lines without the original dry signal. For a best-of-both-worlds experience, take advantage of the aux-out to run the dry signal and sub-octave to separate amps. For upper register overtones through screaming octave-up Octavia style guitar solos (with just the right amount of authentic analog glitch), engage the green Ringer toggle.
