An upgraded version of the producer and musician favorite P16-M, the new P16-HQ shares the same feature set, with an improved digital converter, upgraded headphone amp, and re-configured user interfaceand it’s even more affordable than before. Seamlessly connect with Behringers Powerplay and Ultralink sound reinforcement gear using easy-to-manage CAT5e cables, and connect with any mixer by adding Behringers P16-I interface for easy and flexible compatibility. The P16-HQ comprehensive, easy-to-operate control surface features 16 great-sounding ultra-low-noise channels with presets and recall for custom mixes. Each channel has an independently controllable volume, 3-band EQ with mid-band shift, and panorama dials with bright LED indicators. The variable limiter is also excellent for taming drums and louder audio sources and protecting your ears from unexpected volume spikes or runaway feedback. Mute and Solo functions for detailed monitoring are easily accessible at the touch of a button and can be mounted on a mic stand for convenience. When your project calls for remote access, there is also a built-in MIDI port on the back panel.
One of the most welcome new features is the redesigned headphone amplifier, which delivers detailed clarity and a lively dynamic response with low-impedance in-ear monitors or over-ear studio headphones. There is also a convenient stereo/mono line output for direct signal routing to your active wedge monitors.
