MPK49, MPD32, MPD24 all run off of USB buss power. Occaionally some laptop USB jacks may be underpowered if you are also running too many additional high dpower USB accessories. The solution is the optional MP9-6 power supply. Also necessary if you our using your controllers with outboard MIDI gear instead of USB.
