A powerful digital oscillator with loads of atypical modes, an analog filter, and a modulation matrix. It might look innocent, but its kinky under the covers. MicroFreak is an extremely versatile little monster that can sound sweet, terrific, hypnotic, deep, chaotic and authentic. It features an expressive etched touch-keyboard which also adds to its stylish appearance.

Oscillator Modes: The digital oscillator is prepared to do things other synths simply wouldnt consider. With modes like Texturer, KarplusStrong, Harmonic OSC, Superwave, adventurous musicians will be able to explore totally new possibilities. We have also partnered with acclaimed Eurorack Manufacturer Mutable Instruments, including the Plaits oscillator with added paraphony.

Touch Keyboard with Aftertouch: Dont be afraid to try something new and unusual. MicroFreaks touch plate is fast, natural, and expressive. It can detect pressure, and offers polyphonic aftertouch!

State Variable Analog Filter: Opposites attract, so weve coupled our digital oscillator with an analog filter. Inspired by the trailblazing 12dB Oberheim SEM filter, you can make it scream and whisper to taste. This filter can even auto-oscillate!

Modulation Matrix: Dominate the circuitry with MicroFreaks 5×7 matrix. Three destinations are even user assignable!

Arpeggiator and Step Sequencer: Record up to four automations, edit notes per step or use innovative randomization options. MicroFreaks step sequencer and arpeggiator are powerful and fun to use.

Rear panel: Unlike other synths, MicroFreaks back- end is not off-limits. With connectivity galore, MicroFreak offers CV/Gate: Pitch Out, Gate Out and Pressure Out, Clock In and Out, MIDI In and Out, and USB
