Each DeepMind synth faithfully recreates the architecture of the world-famous model 60 and 106 synths, right down to the hybrid analog oscillators, IR1309 style chip, and control surface layout.

Equipped with 49 full-sized velocity-sensitive keys with aftertouch, the DeepMind 12 features a full 4-octave performance range. Above and beyond the capability of the original 106, DeepMind 12 features 12-voice polyphonic capability with digitally controlled analog oscillators that produce fat vintage-flavored sounds.

However, Behringers DeepMind synths are far more than just clones, sporting many expanded featureslike an extra DCO per voice, 2 LFOs, and 3 ASDR envelope filters. But thats just the tip of the iceberg. DeepMind also features a 32-step control sequencer, arpeggiator, 4 digital FX engines designed by TC Electronics and Klark Teknik, and an extensive 8-bus modulation matrix.

The simple-to-use control panel layout inspires creativity with 80s-style slide controls for the ARP/SEQ; each oscillator, filter, amp, waveforms, and envelopeplus the pitch bend and mod wheelprovides performance-enhancing functions, like fingertip control over polyphonic portamento.
