Description
Faithfully recreated and anxiously anticipated, Behringers Dual-Phase is a faithful and affordable recreation of the most unique, versatile, and sought-after phase-shifter device ever made.
Known for its thick, hypnotic, otherworldly modulation effect, Behringers Dual-Phase delivers the same sonic potential and flexibility as the world’s first 2-in-1 stompbox-style phaser. Although original vintage examples are scarce, the sound of the 70s classic gained fame through its use by superstars like Gerry Garcia, Stevie Wonder, Frank Zappa, Billy Corgan, and more. Elliot Easton of the Cars notably used the effect for the dreamlike textures heard on the classic “Moving in Stereo” from the Fast Times at Ridgemont High soundtrack.
Like the original, Behringers Dual-Phase is loaded with 2 independent 6-stage opto-circuit phasers (12 total), each with 2 oscillators (sine or square wave) sweep generators that can be used in series or parallel. Additionally, Behringer added a footswitch for each phaser that allows you to engage, disengage, or combine each phaser for maximum creative potential.
Equally well suited for use with electric Guitars or Basses, Electric Pianos, Organs, and especially synths, the Behringer Dual-Phase features inputs for expression pedals and CV input for control voltage manipulation. Built tough for years of reliable service and priced at less than half of most boutique pedals and 10 times less than a vintage example, the Behringer Dual-Phase is ready for anything and affordable by anyone.
